A recent study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine has shed light on the effectiveness of intermittent fasting, also known as time-restricted eating, in weight loss. The study, which involved 41 participants, found that this dietary approach can help individuals shed pounds by simply consuming fewer calories overall. During the 12-week study, 21 participants followed a time-restricted diet, while 20 followed a usual eating pattern.
